This was a private commission by the family of Tim Dalton. It is a bronze portrait to commemorate his retirement from the department of justice. This was achieved using only 2 photographs provided by his family; one by his bicycle and the other a close-up of his face. The bicycle is a High Nelly, and he used it to travel to the Dáil every day, signifying its importance in the piece.
